Hw to move iPhoto movies to External Harddrive

The main hard drive of my mac is filling up. So I need to move some files to an external HD (Drobo to be precise).

I use iPhoto to import my photos and (HD) videos from my digital camera & iPhone.

I want to keep all my images in iPhoto, but I'd like to move the space consuming videos to another medium.

Is there simple, possibly automated way to move all the video files (H.264) that are in my iPhoto library to an external folder?

iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.7), TV, Ipod Touch, mac mini, ipods

So I did as you suggested.

It came up with a large list.

I then tried as you suggested

"FIle -> Export and set the Kind to Original"

no luck....

User uploaded file

I came up with a ton of files that when clicked on I got this

I rebuilt iphoto....

Got the same result (many of these older files were taken on a camera that produced .mpg files..

The more recent videos that were taken with the iphone were just fine...

When going to the event I got the same thing.....??

Finally I edited the playlist to just include iphone videos.

I was easily able to export those videos to an external HD.

But now how does one mass delete these files?

Or do I have to go to each event , find the movie, then delete from iphoto?
